Reason for Building:

To honour John G. Diefenbaker, Canada's 13th Prime Minister (1957 - 1963). Diefenbaker defended many court cases in Humboldt as a criminal lawyer in the 1920's and 1930's.

This is a reproduction of an actual $.17 stamp and features a Humboldt Post Office cancellation stamp.
