There are rotating flashing lights around the saucer.

Project cost about $25,000.

It was controversial when it was being built. Many residents wanted an animal such as a fish which would represent the tourism industry in the community.

Mid Canada Fiberglass Ltd. of New Liskeard, ON also created Mrs. Claybelt the Cow in Dymond, ON.
