Reason for Building:

Built to honour local resident and world renowned test pilot, Janusz Zurakowski.

Additional Information:

The park is mostly about Zura (as he was known to his friends). The boards which are visible on the site have, on one side, info about the excellence of the Avro Arrow and on the other side, it is all about “Black Friday”, the cancellation, etc. More information can be found at the following Website: http://zurakowskipark.madawaskavalley.on.ca
